The Official Conference Hotel
Welcome to the Grand Amara
You can, of course, stay at any hotel you like in Nay Pyi Taw. There are venues with very low prices to very high prices as you like. And taxi service is ubiquitous, so getting between your hotel and the MICC-2 Conference Centre is easy.
But if you'd like to stay at the "official" hotel so you can mingle with other Conference guests, we've picked one of our favorites for you to enjoy: The Grand Amara Hotel Nay Pyi Taw. This four-star hotel has generously offered our guests a special Conference only low rate of $45 a night. During breaks from the Conference, you can relax poolside at the Grand Amara, explore any of its on-site restaurants, or hire a car to go sightseeing amongst the local villages and pagodas.
To book your room at the Grand Amara, simply send an email requesting a reservation directly to email@example.com
Please state in your email that you are an "ILA guest attending the Asian SME Conference" in order to secure this much lower rate. If of interest, the Grand Amara also offers alternate rooms as follows:
Superior Room USD $45
Diplomat Suite USD $90
Ambassador Suite USD $105
Capitol Suite USD $170
Presidential Suite USD $1,100
Extra Bed USD $20
There is no need to telephone the hotel, or to send them any payment in advance. Email is sufficient. So once you have received a Confirmation email from the Grand Amara, you should be good to go! Simply settle your charges in cash by US dollars or by Visa or MasterCard with a 4% surcharge upon checkin when you first arrive at the hotel.
(If you do, however, wish to chat with someone at the hotel in advance to make any special requests, their direct phone number is +95 67 8105333.)
